The City Council majority, despite promises that they would help the business find a new location in Emeryville, failed to follow through and Semifreddi’s said it was forced to leave. Pixar is occupying the new space, having bought the building several years ago. Franier said he and his partner were never given an opportunity to make an offer on the building. I'm still angry that the mayor talked such BS about how much Emeryville values Semmifreddi's. Whatta crock! Kassis has a problem with the truth. Thankfully, he's finally going to be gone.
